Our array of classes are aimed at helping those looking to improve their level of fitness by offering a variety of choices to best prepare you to obtain your goals.  

How Difficult Are Classes?

Participants work as hard or as easy as they want to.  Instructors will challenge everyone, but work intensity is totally up to the participant. We realize everyone is at a different point in their life and fitness level. We encourage everyone to measure their progress against where they started, not against other participants.

Who Are The Instructors? 

We have a variety of instructors from different backgrounds.  Most are serious endurance athletes that have a lot of 'field' experience.  Additionally, all instructors are certified through various course work and/or higher education. Instructors will provide coaching and other recommendations for more effective workouts.  

Dawn Chavez Dawn has worked in the fitness industry for 14 years. In that time she has taught group exercise classes including boot camp, group cycling, core class, nutrition classes and beginner triathlon training. She also coached running groups and individual runners training for everything from their first 5k to a marathon, and everything in between. She has worked as a personal trainer (certified through NASM) with individual clients as well. She loves helping people reach their goals!  She is also a mom of 3 and an ultra runner. She enjoys distance trail running and has completed various 50k, 50mi, and 100k distances. She also loves to cook and spend time making healthy meals for her family.
Cathy Meier Cathy is very excited to be teaching group fitness classes at 2 Rivers. She is a wife and mother of three daughters. As an athlete, I understand how important fitness is to have a healthy lifestyle.  I am passionate about health and wellness and helping others reach their goals. I'd love to have you join me in my classes, whether it be yoga or boot camp, all fitness levels are welcome. Together we can be part of the change in our community.
Sunshine Stevens Sunshine has recently completed a 200 hour teacher training through YogaOne in Vinyasa Flow yoga. She came to yoga almost 6 years ago to regain flexibility and build strength in preparation for a sprint triathlon. She has been teaching classes since the summer of 2013. Sunshine has been involved in some kind of athletic endeavour most of her life, from gymnastics to rock climbing, snowboarding, swimming and recently sprint triathlons. She strongly believes yoga is for everyone--all shapes and sizes and creates a bright, positive, and fun environment for all her students. 



All of our equipment is world class including our indoor bicycles.  We continously maintain our equipment to provide the best experience possible for our participants.

What to Bring?

It is recommended to bring an electrolyte drink, a towel and padded bicycle shorts (for indoor cycling classes).  Instructors will reference heart rate often, so it is recommended, but not required to have a heart rate monitor.

Class Descriptions

Indoor Cycling (RPM) 

Indoor cycling is a great workout for all levels of abilities.  You can work as hard or as easy as you like. We will guide you through the workout, teach you movements and help you improve your fitness and reach your goals.  While the below video is intense with a lot of marketing hype, our instructors will help improve everyone's fitness whether you are a beginner or advanced athlete. 

Indoor Cycling / Circuit Training

Cycling/ Circuit Weight training is (2) 30 min express classes in one! We will begin with 30 minutes of Les Mills RPM and then go right into weight/circuit training. This class is appropriate for all fitness levels- our top notch instuctors will modify workouts based on every participants individual abilities.

Indoor Cycling / Yoga

Indoor cycling/Yoga a great workout for all levels of abilities. Tis class incorporates 30 min of Les Mills RPM cycling followed by 30 min of beginner yoga. This is a great way to lengthen and strengthen your muscles after your cardio workout.

Yoga - Beginner

Designed to help improve balance, strength, and flexibility in every participant.  This classical style hatha yoga class systematically works the entire body.  You will learn the basics of breath work and enjoy a relaxation time at the end of class.  This class is appropriate for beginners and/or students who want to work on the basics.

Yoga - Intermediate

Designed to help improve balance, strength, and flexibility in every participant.  This classical style hatha yoga class systematically works the entire body.  You will learn the basics of breath work and enjoy a relaxation time at the end of class.  This class is appropriate for students who have already taken and are comfortable with beginner yoga.
